Bus or bust or busted bus

Well we made it, it was an adventure but we made it. You've probably heard the story of riding 6 hours in a small broken down bus packed with people, pigs and chickens. Well we took that trip minus the pigs and chickens. We're happy to be alive. Oh, I guess it wasn't that bad. We didnt think we were going to make it the way the driver looked at us in Sumy, and told us that we would not fit our luggage. There really was no more room, we just took a little 15 passenger van, we thought it was going to be a bigger bus with storage underneath. We sat back in the very back as Cort sat up next to the driver holding the luggage in the entry way. But we were all very comfortable...not. We didnt speak over a whisper the whole trip because of all the people around us and didnt want to draw a lot of attention to ourselves. We stopped in every knook and cranny for about 10 minutes. We arrived around 6 and the first words out of Cort's mouth were, "welcome to Ukraine." Our hotel was nicer than we thought it would be. We there dropped our bags off and then ran to the branch building and met some youth at Institute. We were amazed how many of them had a deep love and appreciation for Cort for one reason or another. We spoke, took pictures and showed pictures until about 9. Then we had to fill our stomaches with some pizza(one of the only foods we can always count on being good). After that we stopped at the store for some goodies on the way home and then hit the hay.
