A 'Memorial' Day

So it's been a great day! I got myself a sweet road bike on KSL. Went on a ride this morning with my friend Becky and had a marvelous time. And the best thing - I'm not even saddle sore from riding 2 out of 3 days. I've been saving for awhile and looking for just as long for a good deal and I think I found one. I'm excited for my new purchase! Anyone want to go for a ride?
I went to my mother's grave to place some flowers in her honor, and to honor all those who have gone before. The cemetary was beautiful with all the flowers and flags and a bagpiper was walking through the cemetary while playing songs like "Amazing Grace". It was a sacred experience.

This evening we had a BBQ honoring Wini, Steve's mom. Today was her 81st birthday. Everyone in the family was able to attend, the weather was delightful, so it was a memorial day.

And I got to hold little Eisley again. Always a memory. Realized I haven't posted my memories of her birthday. I will do that!

This is the dress I bought her and gave to Cort and Janelle for Christmas. They found out she was a girl on Christmas Eve. It's so cute on her. Soft corduroy, Cort's favorite fabric.
