Day Light Savings

We lost an hour last night, Spring ahead - one less hour to get ready. Will we make it? Ready or not, here we come. Yuri is in Ukraine right now and hasn't been able to send or receive emails too well while there, problems with the Blackberry. So we called him on his cell phone in Ukraine. I'm glad we got through. Made some last minute confirmations to make sure some one will be at the airport to greet us. For some reason that part really frightens me. I'm sure all will be well. We have friends leaving for Kiev on Tuesday. I'm excited for them and praying for them. We will meet up in Sumy, so we will have familiar faces where ever we go. What a blessing. We even have friends living in Kiev (on a church mission) and we get to stay with them the first 4 nights. How lucky are we? There will be at least 13 people from our little neighborhood (well 3-5 mile radius) that we will get to see in Ukraine while we are there. Amazing, maybe we won't get too homesick. I'll miss my family though - that's the hardest part, leaving them behind, but a small sacrifice to make to go get the other two. I can hardly wait.

It will be a whirlwind the next four days getting everything done. On top of everything, I'm trying to paint Cort's room for him before we leave - call me crazy, but its important for me to do. You know, I was thinking today, it feels similar to the nesting instinct when I was ready to deliver my five children, wanting everything clean, organized and done before. I feel the same way now.

Forgot to mention, we did get a phone call connected to L yesterday. She is happy and excited. Bless her heart. Oh the changes for all of us, Oh the blessings for all of us! We will all be together soon. Even my ones from WA.

Next post will probably be in route.... WaHoo!
