hi, we typed some stuff in while we were laying over in Paris, so it's old stuff now. I just didn't get it posted. We have dial up internet right now that hasn't been working to well.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day.
It must be still storming in the East, because there are flights cancelled from here going to Philly and Newark, the 2 I noticed. I guess it’s good we have an extra day.
Well, we have made it to Paris. It is 12:50 Paris time. We’ve got more than 2 hours til we leave to Kyiv. We will miss a day of sight seeing in Kyiv with Natasha or Moody’s. And we were scheduled to go to dinner with Yuri, Elliana (who go back to Canada tomorrow) and Natasha. I don’t know if they will all meet us at the airport and go eat or what’s going to happen. We had a good flight from Atlanta to Paris, crowded, next to last row, but all in all it was pretty comfortable. The food was great. We got dinner and breakfast. We are thinking it might be a small plane that takes us to Kyiv. We shall see.
I don’t think it has really hit us yet what we are doing. I can’t think that we will be away from Laur and Lex for a month. Leann thinks all is going to go well and we will be home in time for Carly’s homecoming on April 8th, Easter. How nice would that be. It will be good to see her coming home from her mission in Indiana.
One thing about the Paris airport is there are no chairs anywhere. Well, few. We are sitting on the one of six that we have found. They won’t let us into the gate yet where there are more chairs. It feels good to walk around, but we are so tired, it feels good to sit too.
I often wonder what little L is thinking about, what is going on in her mind right now. She knows we are coming, I texted her early Friday morning and said we were leaving soon and would see her next week.
We don’t know if we are tired or numb. It just hasn’t clicked in yet. But one thing for sure, I can hardly wait for the hugs. I can hardly wait to see Cort after 25 months. After 25 months you wonder if you ever will, but now it’s just a few days away. We still don’t know if it will be Tuesday, Wednesday, or Friday or Saturday. Hopefully
Steve wanted me to mention my near death experience (arm amputation). On the bus from the airplane to the next gate (which took almost an hour) when they opened the door to exit some passengers, I was holding on to a handle and my arm got smashed and my wrist bent back, we sternly beckoned out to the driver to close the door, fast. It really wasn’t a near death, but it did hurt and it scared me. The force was exceptionally. . . strong. But I can type now, so all is okay.. I’ll save now to the flash drive and off to walk around some. There’s a bunch of Ukrainian young ladies Steve wants to offer his chair too. They’ve got great shoes. Tatyana was right, I might have to find some fun shoes to bring home – Lauren, you can share with me. I’ll keep my eyes out. J
