Really?

I'm making a post? I can't believe it - I bet you can't either. I always feel like since its been so long I need to update on everything that has happened, but since I have realized that's not going to happen - I'll just make a few notes.
- Had a good birthday dinner yesterday for Abbie at Macaroni Grill. Her family was also there. It was good to see them again.
- A couple of families are in Ukraine adopting kids they hosted right now. It's been fun to follow their journey. Many more families going in Sept. So exciting for them. It is great to see their excitement. It is worth it, but not always easy.
- I've learned how to crochet some cute purses. Robyn made up and designed the pattern and showed me how. I've given them to my daughter and 2 daughter in laws for their birthdays. I should have taken a picture to post. I made another real small one, I still have, so maybe I'll post that one.
- I've been working on another project, kind of a surprise for someone so I can't say what. I really enjoyed it, I hope it turns out. I still have lots of work to do on it. Why can't there be more time in the day to do the things you want to do instead of what you have to do that aren't as fun and rewarding?
- We are getting some new living room furniture. Actually we got the chairs yesterday and 2 of the 3 pillows (one they did wrong and have to re-do) I love the chairs. Hopefully the couch will be here soon. We have totally changed the arrangement in the room, makes it much more intimate and cozy, and will take a little getting used to, but I really like the change.
- Trevor had some great news today about a project he worked on for UVU Fire club and will receive some great benefits for his work. I will post and show his project when completed.
- Lauren got a new job and seems to be really enjoying it. The pay is good, she's learning a lot about some medical stuff and it will work with her schooling starting in Aug. I'm excited for the new opportunities for her. She looks pretty cute in scrubs too.
- Lexi got a job too. Yea! She's not as excited for it. she is excited to get her own Debit card though.
- Laina has done great on her English. She has read 4 novels this summer. Quite the accomplishment.

Hey Jenny,
Cute purse! You are a multi-talented woman -- but then I always knew that. :)
