It's over?

I can't believe the year is over today! I have had a great December and Christmas season and really intended to post during the month. I found myself either to busy or too exhausted to want to blog. So here are just a few of my favorite things for the month.

I have volunteered with Festival of Trees for almost 30 years. We were auction hosts again this year on opening night and got to sell the famous glass tree, the highest bidding tree of the year. (Also sold the highest one 2 years ago). I worked in Entertainment during the week (no I wasn't the entertainment, but organized, got them on stage and introduced them). Saturday after closing, worked on taking down the stages and wrapping trees for delivery, got home at 2: a.m. then back at 6 hours later Sunday morning to help deliver and set up 10 trees. Love it!

Lexi performed in the annual Murray Dance Company Christmas concert. I always love to go watch my girls perform.

We had a fun evening at Trevor and Abbies the Sunday before Christmas eating good food, laughing and the kids exchanged gifts since Trev and Abbs wouldn't be around on Christmas.

I got snowshoes for Christmas and Robyn and I went up Millcreek canyon and tried them out. What a beautiful fun day, it makes you love Winter. We were even a little naughty and took off our shirts and took a picture in our sport bras (but I definitely won't post that one!).

Well I've got to go run some end of year errands, I haven't been in a store since Christmas Eve. I promise to post more next year.

It will be a good year - 2 new favorite things:

Eisley May, a new granddaughter due to parents Cort and Janelle in May.

Baby (name and gender coming soon) due to parents Trevor and Abbie in July.

(one of my best highlights is my daughter-in-laws are pregnant and my daughters aren't.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR if not before!

We are excited to see all of the blessings, memories and fun we will have this new year. We too are so thrilled for the two babies to be coming into this world. We will be finding out the day before Valentines. We thought we would bring a better memory into this year valentines. Last years was a little tough. Love the pictures. The snow shoeing sounded so fun. I like the little rebel in you coming out.
