This year I made a challenge for myself and shared it with my children. I have meant to put it on my blog and keep forgetting. I have a copy of it on my desk, I need to post to renew my commitment to working to "Try a little harder to be a little better." My inspiration for this years challenge for me is taken from the word HOPE. It is one of my favorite words and I am still hoping to have more Hope. I am going to post it here (it seems to make me feel a little more accountable for what I set for myself.)
HOPE
Hope is an abiding trust that the Lord will fulfill His promises to you. It is manifest in confidence, optimism, enthusiasm, and patient perseverance. It is believing and expecting that something will occur. When you have hope, you work through trials and difficulties with the confidence and assurance that all things will work together or your good. Hope helps you conquer discouragement. from Preach My Gospel
I then listed words that started with each letter H-O-P-E to help me accomplish my goals, dreams and wishes for 2010!
