Paka and THANKS!

Today we went to church with the Moody's at the International Branch. Laina and I went to Sacrament and Primary. There were no teenagers. It was fun for her and she participated. Steve and Cort had to go to the train station to pick up a package, so they arrived late. Natasha was there with another couple who are hear trying to adopt 2 young boys. We invited them over to the apartment for dinner. Janice and I made Hawaiian Haystacks and 7 layer bars. We had a good visit and then all of us walked to a Art Museum. We are now back at the apartment, having some fruit and toast. We've visited about Cort's mission and he shared thoughts about his mission with the Moody's. It's been a nice evening. Now we've got to go repack, redistrubute the weight evenly in luggage and secure any breakables. From the time we leave the apartment til the time we get home it will be about 21 hours. Hopefully we will have no delays or problems in the airports. We are ecstatic to be back on American soil.

It is amazing to really believe we will be heading to the airport in a little over 13 hours. Sometimes it still feels so surreal and just going through motions, and it is hard to comprehend and believe what we are really experiencing. Who would have ever thought?!
As we get ready to leave Ukraine, we owe so much gratitude to all of you who are following along. You have all played an important, necessary part of this experience and if it wasn't for the combination of each part this wouldn't be happening. We are so humbled by the support we have gotten from all of our amazing family and friends. First of all I'm thankful for our children who have been so accepting and selfless in adding to our family. Our parents and sisters and brothers who have also accepted and been behind us all the way. They have been a great influence in our lives and Laina will be so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in her life. It may take a while for her to learn everyone's name and not to feel overwelmed. To our wonderful friends who have encouraged, taken care of needs at home, lent luggage, personal shoppers, driven to airport, contributed to our cause, loaded iPods, prayed for us, fed our girls, etc, etc, providing housing in Ukraine, and moral support! and I am sure there is so much more that we are not even aware of that has been done. Thank you, Thank you!
We have been touched by the generousity of all of you and we are truly indebted to each of you and also our Heavenly Father who has guided us in this adventure. May all of you be blessed in each of your endeavors and dreams and thank you for helping ours come true!
Paka (bye) from Ukraine.
